Hyper Mobile lesions
a) It can occur in a case of sports injuries to an athlete.
b) During pregnancy and soon after following the secretion of ligament are lax 6- 12 weeks after delivery. (Under the effect of hormone relaxing)
● Degenerative changes:-
like any other joints of the body it also undergoes degeneration.
● Non - inflammatory condition:-
It occurs with the condensation of bone on the iliac side of the joint. Occurs mainly in
  • Young adults
  • post partum woman
● Inflammatory disease and infection eg. Staphylococcal
  • Tubercular infection
  • Sexually acquired infection or due to IV drug abuse
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
